Ash Barn
Ash Barn was converted in 2006, we previously used it to store hay and straw and various historic farming implements. The ground level is an open plan living area with under floor heated travertine tiles.
One well behaved pet is welcome in Ash Barn.
The living area is open plan with a sofa and chair, dining table and chairs and a kitchen area. It has double patio doors to the front looking out into the pretty garden. To the rear, from the kitchen, it has double patio doors and huge windows looking east into the old cattle yard. It is a wonderful sunny spot in the morning with a garden bench on which to enjoy a coffee. There is a fridge with freezer compartment, cooker, dishwasher, washer/dryer and microwave, plenty of saucepans, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils.
The televisions in the living room and bedroom receive FreeSat programmes which include radio and there is a DVD player.
In the bedroom you have either have twin beds, or they link together to make a 6' wide super-king. There is a huge, winding exposed beam; I suppose the straighter trees were used in houses rather than barns.
The upstair bathroom has a large shower and a 'Loo with a View' over the pantiled roof of the stables across the fields (obviously with a net curtain for privacy!)
